Wendy Kramer, M.A., M.S.W., L.C.S.W., A.T.R.
Wendy Kramer, L.C.S.W. is a specialist in conflict resolution, organizational consultation, training and family intervention. She has spent many years working with individuals and organizations to resolve disputed issues in a voluntary, mutually fair, and future oriented way. Expanding her work into the area of mediation was a natural refinement of skills already well honed. She believes that the mediation process is far more amenable to allowing real negotiation of important concerns of family or business relationships than a formal legal process, which too easily becomes adversarial and competitive. Wendy is an experienced Employee Assistance Professional, consultant and an expert seminar leader. Wendy received her first Masters degree from George Washington University in 1977, and as a Registered Art Therapist worked with child and family programs, as well as substance abuse clients for many years. In 1987, Wendy completed her M.S.W. at Loyola University of Chicago and in 1999, completed forty hours of training with Carl Schneider, of Mediation Matters, and Margaret Powers, M.S.W., a Chicago leader in Mediation. Wendy also completed the Advanced Mediation Training, Domestic Violence, at DePaul University with Lynn Gaffigan, J.D. She is a member of the Chicago Association for Conflict Resolution.
